At 9:30 a.m. usually the start time for the Weekly Wednesdays Audience. The immensely popular Pope Francis is attracting enormous crowds, so plan to arrive up to three hours before the audience begins if you want a decent seat. The duration of the audience is approximately 1.1/2 to 2 hours. The Pope will deliver addresses in a variety of languages during the Audience, including English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Italian, among others. The third language is usually English, and at the conclusion of the audience, the Pope bestows a blessing on the crowd, which also includes those at home who are sick or suffering, as well as any religious items you may have with you, such as Rosary beads.
