Christmas in Rome – Museums of Rome

As there are just few days away for Christmas in Rome, it is a must that we need to know the timings of the museums in Rome. As a traveler, we do not want any unwanted delays. So, here are some information about the timings and availability of Museums in Rome.

The Museums in Rome will be open on 24th December until 2:00 PM which is the Christmas Eve in Rome. On 25th December the museums are closed and are not accessible to the public. The same applied to the 31st December which is New Year’s Eve in Rome.

But, on 26th December, municipal museums like Capitoline museums, the ARA Pacis museum and the Trajan’s markets will be functioning as usual.

However, All the museums which is controlled by the Rome will be open on 1st of January 2023.

However, museums and the Vatican will be crowded due to Christmas in Rome and New year eve celebrations. Rome is the most happening place for these events.
